Can we just talk about how amazing Zach and Katie Hamilton's wedding was?! How beautiful it was and how every inch of it was covered in such great love?! With every progressing stage of my own life I find myself marveling at the new capacity of love my heart can hold, my eyes can see, and that I experience. I always think that there couldn't possibly be more levels of love until God shows up and outdoes Himself yet again. During the month of August I was honored and blessed to be a part of my dear friend, Katie's wedding as she married (her now husband) Zach. I can't go into full detail because it was honestly something you had to be here for. However, let me say this, EVERYTHING - from meeting the other people in the bridal party, setting up, rehearsal, to getting all gussied up for the big day - was perfectly done and done in love. Everything. You see, if you don't know my friends Zach and Katie, know this: they are love personified. Forgiving, kind, patient, grateful, caring and amongst many others, godly people. In all things I've seen them do it's in a way that never is self-seeking but for the benefit of everyone around them. I remember every day leading up to the wedding and even on the day of they would remind us all how blessed they were to have 240 of the best people in the world show up at their wedding. Every day they would make us feel as though we were the cause for celebration and not them.
Zach and Katie, you two honestly deserve all the happiness in the world.
"Give and it shall be given on to you. A good amount will be poured into your lap. It will be pressed down, shaken together, and running over. The same amount you give will be measured out to you."
- Luke 6:38
All that you have given, shared, and done so selflessly will come back to you both. In this time and generation you both are breath of fresh air and a truthful reminder of the good that's more than attainable. In the glum of darkness it's uplifting to know that love is not only out there but it's ours for the taking if only we're willing to seek it and keep it by continuously sharing it with everyone.
