Here's To You. Yeah, You.

I fell into the deep side of Facebook where it's too awkward or too far back on someone's timeline to like or post anything so I wrote something about it instead:
Here's to the people who finally moved out of Oregon; to the people that stayed; here's to those who found their roots and those who are just creating theirs; to the guy who's starting a family of his own; the girl who's forging a career out of her love for photography; to the two who have been together since high school and decided to make it legally official; to the people who continued to be "nerds" because there is no cooler thing than being passionate about what you truly enjoy; to the guy who moved all the way to New York far away from family but closer to his dreams; to the girl who kept her infectious laugh even though life threw many things her way; to my old classmate that found her calling in helping other students find theirs; to that one guy who chose to hold down his job so he can raise up his family; to the girl who made it out of that relationship with more strength than she even knows; to the guys and girls who took on a teaching job at a low-income school because they chose kids over money; to the girl who continues to work out day in and day out because she loves her body; to the girl that beat her addiction; to the guy that decided to take up baking and became really good at it; and amongst many, many others, the girl that took a few years off to live in a foreign land all for the sake of helping the unfortunate and also ended up helping out herself.
Here is to everyone I see on Facebook everyday. It may not be the most personal place in the world but hearing about and seeing your personal stories gives me hope and makes me excited about life. I find myself in great company for having known/continuing to know all of you.
