I have always been fascinated by society’s definition of success. Especially that placed upon the female gender. There seems to be a so-called ‘need’ to beat out every woman in order to succeed. There seems to be an unspoken law that if one must climb up, it must be atop every other woman’s goals and aspirations. My work aims to break that down and restructure that cracked mindset. 

This is a call to all girls to be good team players. Put away the unnecessary competition and simply coexist.  Choose to revere your sisters rather than rival them. In place of envy, throw around words and statements of encouragement with intent.

We are all in this game together and contrary to fear-induced belief, there is enough room on the first-place podium for each and every one of us.
