Alex and Janel are the epitome of elegantly simple. Their love isn’t the the showy, in-your-face kind but make no mistake you know without a shadow of a doubt that it’s there, it’s real and it’s inspiring.
Although they met in grade school it wasn’t until a few years later in uni did they move from being good friends to lovers. Then some years later, Alex popped the question in the living room of their apartment on a Friday evening.
I love that their story is one that grew over time. I truly is something to behold.
Similar to who they are, their wedding was also elegantly simple. Set on the waters of the Pasadena Sydney up in northern Sydney, the weather was warm but the water provided a gentle breeze to make all guests comfortable.
And in addition to that, the sand and water became the a beautiful backdrop for the bridal portraits I took after the ceremony.
There were quite a few guests in attendance but I love how intimate and close everyone still felt. From start to finish, I enjoyed every part of Alex and Janel’s wedding.
